Help Desk
The Helpdesk is a quick method by which requests for maintenance can be added to the Agility Database. It is primarily designed to facilitate a quick and reliable method of generating electronic requests. Once a request has been added by this method it is part of the Work Order functionality and as such an integral part of the database. It is very useful in a situation where there is a 24hr operation that is not covered by 24hr maintenance. Requests can be added at anytime and do not “get lost” in the same way as paper notes or voice mail messages.
Adding a helpdesk request
Accessed from Helpdesk >> Add New Help Desk Request

To make the entering of a request fast and simple the form only shows those fields that are essential to a work order. The addition of a Helpdesk request creates Single Task Work Order. Mandatory Work Order fields do not have to be displayed on form as they can be filled using default values set in System Parameters.
Enquiring on Help Desk Request
Existing Help Desk Requests can be accessed via 1 of 3 forms
1). Accessed from Helpdesk >> Helpdesk Request List - by Date

2). Accessed from Helpdesk >> Helpdesk Request List - by Status

3). Accessed from Work Order >> Work Order List
